the "The Erie Canal".

A preview screening of "The Erie Canal" was featured at 7:30 pm on Monday, October 29th at IMAGE Film & Video Center's "Reflections in the Water" screening at the Georgia Pacific Auditorium, 133 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30303 (site where the premiere of "Gone With the Wind" was held in 1939!). Admission was free and open to the public. On-line Productions would like to thank those who attended for their support. Special thanks to sponsors: Jim Wile and Ted Webster at Comprehensive Technical Group and Brian Newman at IMAGE Film/Video.

Independently written and produced by Atlanta-based director Steven Panayioto, this 1/2 hour non-fiction story is about the making of a dream come true and the inventive people who made it happen. The result, a canal, opened the west and led New York City into the center of the "new world".
